MicroPulse has good first quarter
Today's economy is putting a strain on many small business, but fortunately, MicroPulse has been able to weather the storm. "Although business is down slightly with some of our larger current customers, we have been able to find new opportunities in other areas with the help of our partners, customer referrals and direct efforts," says Chris Harper, VP - Sales & Marketing. "We are still keeping a close eye on what is going on with the economy and how it affects our customer base. We have been lucky to have a well diversified customer base and not have all our eggs in one basket. In addition, we have had great fiscal discipline that has given us the financial stability to weather the storm."
MicroPulse's Q1 2009 revenues are up 16.6% over the same period last year. Expenses are up as well as staff has been added and infrastructure and facilities have been upgraded, but overall the company is in good shape and is reinvesting in its future. "Having a good first quarter energizes us for the year and reinforces that we are doing the right thing," states Ed Lawrence, VP - Technology.
